Carmel
Valley is a beautiful place. You
will find wonderful weather, (probably
the best in California) and nature overflowing beyond the valley rims. You will see extraordinary oak trees, pines, and majestic redwoods. Mountains
overtake the scenery while giving
you
a sense of tranquility. Driving along
Carmel Valley road is a joy
to say the
least....One will find points of interest
every few miles,
with country style
shops, wineries, nurseries, barns,
and beautiful parks.
Did
we mention the Carmel Valley River?
It's a beautiful flowing liquid extravaganza
fed
from the mountains bordering
the valley. Also, there are beautiful
wildflowers that bloom in the spring
and summer that inspire the soul.
In the winter, temperatures are
moderate
from
28-35 at night,
to 40- 55 during
the day. Once
in a while, the temperatures
get just cold enough
at
even 1000 ft. elevations to
get
a little snow.
It
only lasts for maybe a day
or two, but
it evokes magic for all to see.
Wildlife
is readily found in Carmel Valley.
Just
looking over your
shoulder, you might
see
some Deer.
Strolling on a path you could come
across Wild Turkeys. Did
you
hear that? A
Bobcat just
jumped
from a
bush chasing some Quail.
At night
you
can hear the coyotes, singing
their
timeless
song. If you hike into the
mountains,
be prepared to see Mountain
Lions
or maybe some Wild Boar. Beautiful
Birds
abound the skies. You'll see
Hawks,
Turkey
Vultures and Condors.
How about
a
lavish Owl to spur
a smile? Be prepared
to
grin. Come
to Carmel Valley
and stroll
through
endless
land that will inspire
the
soul. Feel
the gentle breeze that
sings through
your hair dancing off of the waves from
beautiful Carmel Bay.
