Fun, FREE Things to do in Carmel

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:00 am

You’ve been planning your Carmel trip for months and you even went to Get WildBlue so you’d have internet at home to bid on flights…now you’re broke but ready for the vacation of a lifetime! Here are a few of our favorite FREE things to do in Carmel, California…
Monastery Beach – This picturesque strip of sand provides a great spot for kids to play or a romantic evening walk…grab a picnic of food you bought at the store and walk along the sand to figure out why Carmel really is paradise.
San Carlos School – Tour this century-old mission and learn more about the local architecture. Admission is free and if you come at sunset you may just catch a flock of doves flying away from the belltower.
Seventeen Mile Drive – There’s a small toll to access this part of the highway but you can milk an entire day’s worth on entertainment out of these 17 miles. Stop along the way for photos at numerous picture spots and walk along secluded beaches that seem to pop up out of nowhere.
